Aurelio guitars are designed to be sonically, ergonomically and aesthetically exceptional. Through my own innovations but also embracing those of some premier luthiers, Aurelio guitars include features that may not usually be found on the typical acoustic guitar. Here are some of them...

By avoiding having the fingerboard attached to the soundboard, the soundboard is allowed to vibrate more freely across more of its area to let the voice of the guitar flourish. The raised position of the fingerboard also allows easier access to the higher frets; even on non-cutaway models.

Removing the bridge pins helps reduce mass in the area of the guitar that needs to work as efficiently as possible if a responsive instrument is to be achieved.

Internal heel block support rods in the body of the guitar allow the transverse brace of the soundboard to be removed to allow more of the area of the soundboard to vibrate freely. The rods work well to stop the effects of string tension trying to warp the soundboard of the guitar and this can reduce the likelihood of a neck reset being required in future years

Further control of the intonation of the guitar is achieved by shaping both the nut and saddle. This gives a guitar that plays in tune across the fingerboard to a greater degree of accuracy and precision

By measuring resonant frequencies throughout the build process, the final timbre of the guitar can be more accurately and precisely controlled to meet the preferences of each discerning player

Appropriate bracing creates an active back that is light and responsive enough to contribute more strongly to the sound signature of the guitar with beautiful overtones.

Structuring the sides of the guitar with multiple layers gives an incredibly rigid rim on which the attached soundboard can vibrate with less energy loss
Controlling the mass of the sides of the guitar gives better control over the resonant frequencies of the guitar. This helps to avoid wolf notes but also hones the sound signature and intonation of the instrument. Having these masses located in the tail of the guitar also aids playing comfort by balancing the guitar as the player holds it
