Aurelio Guitars are custom guitars, meticulously crafted by me, Connor Gair, and named after my son, Aurelio. From my workshop in Heybridge, Essex, my dedication to guitar craftsmanship ensures each instrument boasts beautiful tone and aesthetics with ergonomics that make it a dream to play.
I am an osteopath by profession and a luthier by passion, and interestingly, my understanding of the human body influences my guitar craftsmanship. Just as the human body is a refined system where structure governs function, modern acoustic guitars have evolved similarly, with superior guitars performing optimally due to their structural design. I love to continually explore the physics of the guitar and implement small design adaptations in the creation of my evolving refined instruments.
My guitars, therefore, showcase innovations that may be a bit unconventional but contribute to the optimal performance each instrument is built for. The specifications of my Luthier Series guitars are meticulously chosen and reflect my artistic explorations, while my Custom Series guitars offer discerning players the chance to realize their dream guitar. Through a thorough consultation and ongoing partnership, commissioning a Custom Series guitar becomes a fulfilling experience. The first notes played on the instrument are a beautifully special moment for its new owner; a feeling I share with them that fuels my passion for lutherie.
